Here’s how the fundraiser works:

Wax melts are scented candles but without the wick. We have an unbeatable range of scents and fragrances, from perfume to laundry.

Are Wax Melts Better Than Candles?

We say YES! Wax melts are much better than candles for several reasons. Click here to read

How Long Do Wax Melts Last?

Each Scented Melt cube has a burn time of 10-25 hours and 60-100 per packet.

What wax melter Should I use?

We recommend using atea light burnerfor optimal scent throw, but our wax melts can also be used inelectric wax burnersand plug-in warmers for cost-effective and safety reasons.

What Is Scent Throw?

The scent throw is a term used to describe how strong the fragrance is and how quickly the scent travels. A good melt will fill the room within 15 minutes of melting.

Do Wax Melts Evaporate?

Unlike candles, wax melts do not come into contact with a naked flame, so they do not evaporate. Burn the same piece of wax until you no longer can smell the scent, and dispose of the residual wax.

How Do You Remove Wax Melts?

Firstly, we love using cotton wool or cotton pads to soak up the molten wax and clean the dish. Secondly, you can wait for the wax to set hard and run the warmer under a warm tap, so the wax pops out easily.

Why Pick Us?

At Aroma Addiction we will only use natural Soy Wax and Premium Fragrance / Essential Oils in our Scented Melts and Tea Lights. The wax component of Scented Melt manufacturing makes up around 90% of the total product ingredients. This makes our selection of Wax critical to our end result.

Below is a comparison that will explain why we do not use
The Most Popular Wax Used in both Candle & Wax Melt Manufacturing - Paraffin Wax

  • Soy Wax

    • Hydrogenated form of soybean oil - a natural, renewable resource.
    • Has a lower melting point than paraffin
    • Burns longer, stronger and at a cooler temperature than paraffin wax resulting in a product that will last around 50% longer than paraffin based wax melts
    • Soy wax is much healthier for humans, pets, and the environment. Also they will clean up easier if the wax is spilled as they are biodegradable
  • Paraffin Wax

    • A natural product derived from the components of decayed animal and plant material
    • Made by removing the waxy substance from crude oil  (a refined a gasoline product)
    • Most popular kind of wax used in candle making
    • Very cheap to make especially in large quantities. This is not always reflected as a cheaper product for the end user unfortunately. Especially if they are sold as a  part of a “Multi-Level Marketing Scheme”
